Indian Army released the video of Surgical Strike after 2 years. On september 29 2016, DGMO Lt General Ranbir Singh in the press conferance announced. India did the successful Surgical Strike on terror pads.With the help of Dhruv Helicopter and other technology to monitor theoperation like mounted cameras on the helmet. Indian Army personnel enter the LOC covering the area of almost 3 km and attacked the terror outfits.
In this 5 hour operation which began in the midnight, the commandos were para-dropped using helicopters in the POK region.
The operation was closely monitored back in Delhi by defence minister Manohar Parrikar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the then Army chief General Dalbir Singh.

It is one of the major operation that took place after Kargil war in retaliation of URI attacks. Which was reported as the was reported as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades” It was taken out by the terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed , Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Even after the attacks Pakistan continue to deny the operation.
“The videos of Surgical Strike are real. I can confirm that,” Lt General D S Hooda (retd), former Northern Army Commander.
Pakistan as well as the opposition party keeps on questioning the operation. Senior Congress leaders, CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and BJP’s allies Shivsena also questioned about Surgical Strike.
Back in 2016, the world media and leaders of various countries acknowledged the Surgical Strike. It will be interesting to see how World looks towards this video.
URI-The Surgical Stike
Finally the much awaited movie on Surgical Strike released on the box office. It was supported by the audience too. Uri- The Surgical Strike managed to touch whopping Rs. 200 Crores.
Its dialog, “How’s the Josh…High Sir” went viral on social media. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses the dialog while addressing the bollywood celebrities in Mumbai during the opening of Bollywood Museum.
The dialog was also chanted by BJP leaders in the parliament during the interim budget session when announced GST for the movies. Opposition claimed that BJP is using movie for political motives.
While concluding, The Surgical Strike surely boosted the moral of Indian Soldiers as well as the masses and left behind the spark of patriotism among the people.
